George's passion for saddle fitting comes from his experience working with 'problem' horses in Hertfordshire and around the country. Incorrect saddle fit can cause discomfort and restriction of freedom of movement which can lead to both physical and behavioural issues. Which is why every saddle fit with George includes a static and ridden assessment with attention to detail, prioritizing the horses welfare, comfort and performance.
Checking your saddle
It is recommended saddles are checked every 6 months or sooner if your horses condition changes (usually between the seasons). George provides a professional and in-depth saddle fit and is able to adjust saddles and has advanced experience flocking saddles to fit. As well as providing expert advice on pads, girths and shimming if necessary.
He can fully reflock saddles and provide minor repairs in his hertfordshire based workshop.
